We arrived at Gare de Lyon station in Paris and caught a taxi to our hotel in the southern end of Paris below the Latin Quarter. Look it's a French Poodle! Wouldn'tcha know.

This quaint out of the way area caters more to the native Parisians so the English language was not so readily spoken. I did so much walking I would carry an extra pair of shoes and kept changing to appease my aching feet but it didn't stop us. We would walk the streets trying to find places to eat and many times didn't have a clue what we were ordering. Had some interesting dishes.

The beauty of Paris is overwhelming. We headed off to visit the Eiffel Tower.

On the way to the Tower, we were waylayed by some Parisian sketch artists who insisted they sketch Aaron with his white hair. They then named their price for this marginal caricature. I hadn't got my currency translation down yet and found that I had been charged 45. They saw these tourists coming. I had to protest and they cut the price in half.
