Time for some appreciation of Impressionist Art at the Courtald Gallery. I LOVE THIS STUFF! The great masters in front of my eyes. Be still my heart! I have my new print "Au Bal" by Manet, one of his more subdued and freeform pieces. It has that sketchy, unfinished and free look.  It looks so spontaneous, yet carefully crafted, I am sure.

Here is the plaza at Courtald Gallery. Check out the fountains. This gallery was where Aaron developed an appreciation for Impressionism when he saw the self portrait by Van Gough wearing the bandage on his ear. How could any kid resist the story of a guy who cuts off his own ear! He was hooked.

After several days of drinking in the sights of London, we packed for our departure early the next morning on board the Eurostar. This is the view from our Hotel, overlooking Russel Square, yet another charming little park. We had to get a pic of the double-decker bus.
