London
This cathedral took 35 years to build. The 365 feet high dome is second only in size to St. Peter's in Rome.

It has been a place of worship for over 1400 years. It is the seat of the Bishop of London.

Another destination in our travels was St. Paul's Cathedral. We climbed the 543 steps up narrow and winding trails stopping at the Whispering Gallery. The acoustics are such that you can hear the whisper of someone clear across the gigantic room as the sound travels  the round walls.

We continued to climb, some of the passageways so narrow we could barely fit through as we neared to top.

It was getting scary as we reached the hard to maneuver iron stairs near the top dome. Alas we made it to the top and marveled at the view. Guess what! We had to climb down all those stairs too. This trip is not for the faint hearted.

Back from antiquity for a moment, we have a statue of a Dali clock in the midst of the city. You can see Big Ben lurking in the distance.
